Cellar for up to 3 years. Serve chilled. Perfect for hot sunny days, this delicious rosé has a stunning pale salmon hue and enticing aromas of strawberries, raspberries and fresh mint which linger in the air. The first sip is bursting with mouthwatering freshness and ripe red berry notes along with hints of citrus and candy. Light and elegant with a smooth texture and clean finish, this is the perfect wine to enjoy by the pool or in the garden as an aperitif. It can also be paired with a wide variety of dishes like pan-fried salmon steaks, leafy salads, fresh seafood and creamy cheeses. Named Rosé des Vents in reference to the compass which adorns the label, this delicate rosé is composed of the Cinsault and Grenache grape varieties which are native to the region. The grapes are grown on clay and limestone soils in the Languedoc where the sunny Mediterranean climate produces perfectly ripe grapes of very high quality. In the winery the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks to capture the varietal typicity and purity of the fruit. The Sieur d’Arques cooperative is located in the Languedoc close to the foothills of the Pyrenees and was founded in 1946 by several local winemaking families. The winery is famous for producing top quality sparkling wines as well as a variety of still red, white and rosé wines from local grape varieties.
